I don't know about you, but here in Arizona I don't really have a seasonal wardrobe. Sure I have some sweaters and jackets that I store away until I can use them for a few months, but for the most part my closet stays the same throughout the year. And, if you're like me you like to shop your closet and try to make different items work for multiple seasons.
One thing that I like to do is take my spring and summer dresses and transition them for fall!
*if you shop through my links I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you - thanks for your support!*
I love taking a simple bright dress and adding a few accessories to make it more fitting for a new season. Simply switching out the shoes already makes a huge difference.
Another easy fix is adding a cover. I tend to go for flannel or denim and when it's actually cold outside (still in the 100+ degree weather over here...) I'll add a cardigan or light jacket.
And of course my favorite accessory to add to make an outfit seem even more ready for fall is to add a hat! I love a good wide brim hat & it makes a huge difference when you are transitioning an outfit.
What's your favorite way to transition an outfit to a new season?
It's that time of year again when Ulta does their 21 days of beauty sale. I've been more picky with what I am buying but definitely shopping a few days. But before you shop, sign up for Rakuten and you can get 3% cash back on your purchase at Ulta.

Here are some of my picks from the sale. I'm also interested this year because on Sept 12th (happy birthday to me!) they are doing a surprise beauty steal that will be 50% off.
Like I said, I'm trying to be more selective about what I am purchasing so I didn't share a huge list because I want to make sure I am not spending more than necessary. You can check out all 21 days here.
Here are a few items I did just refill on as well. These are ones I use daily!
The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser
Brightening Treatment Drops Triple Vitamin C Serum
Protect + Glow Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30
Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
If you've been on Instagram at all you'll notice influencers posting their LTKit links. These are affiliate links that these creators can earn a *very* small commission off of at no extra cost to the shopper. They have in app exclusives and Like to Know it Day is one where they partner with specific retailers to give you a discount while shopping from the app. You can shop outside the app but using a link from a blogger is an easy way to support someone that you follow while buying something you want!
LTKit Day has some great brands participating, I'll list all of them below but wanted to share some of my top faves from brands that I already shop. I wouldn't push a product on you that I haven't tried or like so all of these items linked are things I already use or am planning on purchashing!
If you didn't already know today and tomorrow at Old Navy it's 50% off everything plus you can get free shipping too! I have really been working on only buying what I need and making sure I get rid of old items I haven't worn in a while so make room. But, I can't resist this deal especially because I have fallen in love with their activewear tops!
*Shopping through these links gives me a small commission at no extra cost to you so I appreciate it tons!*
These are all activewear tops that I own and currently have a few more in my cart because they're so good! The tulip back top is probably my favorite and I have a few in my cart right now because they're perfect for working out or just wearing for an athleisure look.
I was hesitant at first but I actually really like my leggings and biker shorts and have been eyeing another pair for a while so 50% is the perfect time to snag a new pair!
With so many people working from home now, loungewear is huge. I tend to get dressed in the morning but then find myself in comfies later in the day. I have realized I don't have a ton of loungewear and I found the cutest joggers and pants. Plus these Lux tee's are my favorite and are good for all occasions (def bought some more!).
It doesn't quite feel like fall in Arizona yet but I am so ready and a cozy cardigan is my favorite. I found so many cute ones that I want for this season - now I just need to clean out the ones I don't wear anymore!
I personally love fall because I can finally start wearing jeans again and I love adding in skirts (over tights when it's colder) to mix up my look. I just snagged a new pair of rockstars because they are my favorite fit and I can't pass up 50% off!
Let me know what you snag and remember you also get free shipping with no minimum if you use the code freeship!
Happy weekend! Sharing with you the labor day sales that I found and am planning on shopping (or wishing I could...). Linked items on my wish list or ones that I already have!
For the Home
There are SO many sales right now so linking ones that I truly will be shopping or have on my wish list if it's something that I actually need, working on not buying excess when I don't need too!
Trying something new this week and giving you 5 of my favorite Amazon finds for transitioning to fall! Here in Arizona fall doesn't happen until late October/November but a girl can dream right? This is why I love pieces that are versatile so that I can wear them for all different seasons.
I meant to post this morning but of course having a toddler sometimes gets in the way of that! If you didn't know LOFT is doing their warehouse sale right now and it's amazing! Although COVID is throwing us all for a loop if you are looking for some new work appropriate attire look no further! I linked some of my favorites below and they all range from only $8 - $16! I couldn't pass it up and definitely snagged some for myself!
*If you shop through these links I earn a very small commission, thank you!*
All of these tops are only $8 with the code LOVE and are perfect for dressing up or down! I snagged the Lily Bar Back Flutter Shell and the Eyelet Cropped Shirt
Loft has such nice dress pants that I couldn't help but snag a pair of these Button Front Lightweight Fluid Pants and also this gorgeous Bouquet Pleated Midi Skirt that I am so excited to wear casually and dress up romantically.
I have FAR too many dresses right now and am still working on clearing out my closet so I went "window shopping" for these but linked some of my favorites. The one eyelet one I really wanted sold out instantly so I only linked those that still have multiple sizes in stock!
Remember to use the apply the code LOVE to snag these, and if you do let me know what you get!
Ulta here for the win with their 21 Days of Beauty. Hopefully you're practicing your social distancing so what better way than to shop online for all the deals! I have linked my favorite below and started with today's deals for you.
*Thank you for shopping through my links, I get a very small commission from it at no additional cost to you!*
I love dressing up for holidays and Valentines is one of my favorites - solely for the chocolate, let's be real. Reds and pinks are so fun to wear, and I love adding them to my wardrobe throughout the week. I generally stay in for Valentines, especially now with a little one, but I love mixing and matching to find new outfits to style and wanted to give you some ideas of how you can find items in your own closet to create a fun valentines look.
Hey guys, it’s been a bit since I’ve blogged and wanted to stop and chat about some of my favorite lip balms. I love a bold lip and bright colors but sometimes I want the color without having to actually wear a lipstick or paint. If you haven’t tried a lip balm that changes with your Ph you’re missing out!
There are a few different lip balms that I’ve been using that are perfect for adding some color to your lips without the hassle of lipstick. You literally apply and your lips transform, and no two lips will look the same because the formula adapts to your pH.
