Hey friends! Back again for Wear it Wednesday and I wanted to share about Honeylove with you this week. Honeylove creates shapewear for women that is bold and effective - because no one likes when their shapewear rolls down on them! I love that it is a women owned company and it was created to help all women feel confident. They also partner with Dress for Success which provides women with Honeylove products nationwide.

I tried out the LiftWear Tank and love the design! It's designed to be a supportive bra, smoothing garment, and stylish top in one. I love that it's meant to be form fitting and that it's a bra and top all in one so that you don't have any bra lines or bulging. It's wire-free bust support that replaces your bra. The LiftWear Tank features smooth,
supportive straps that lay gently on the skin. The LiftWear Cami features adjustable straps that
can be shortened, lengthened, or crossed in the back to give you more control over your fit.
They can be worn on their own as a cute top, it has smooth supportive straps and holds you in in all the right places.
I also styled it with other pieces layered over for a more chic look while still feeling secure. I love the way it looks with a denim jacket or just a kimono or duster over.
I also love wearing the cami under clothing as well. It's so comfortable and form fitting and works well under all styles. Also adding a hat is a simple way to elevate your outfit as well especially when I am trying to wear the same items in different ways.
I love adding layers to take one top or blouse to make it work for different styles. You can take a basic look from day to night with a simple jacket change! What is your favorite style?
I don't know about you, but here in Arizona I don't really have a seasonal wardrobe. Sure I have some sweaters and jackets that I store away until I can use them for a few months, but for the most part my closet stays the same throughout the year. And, if you're like me you like to shop your closet and try to make different items work for multiple seasons.
One thing that I like to do is take my spring and summer dresses and transition them for fall!

I love taking a simple bright dress and adding a few accessories to make it more fitting for a new season. Simply switching out the shoes already makes a huge difference.
I’m impatiently waiting for the weather to cool down, even though I know it does this every year. We get a beautiful week in the 70’s before it shoots back up to the high 80’s and 90’s because “fall” actually hits.
I’m dying to wear all my new cardigans for this fall season. I’ve always been a fan of stripes and I’m loving that color blocking is back in style because I’m stocking up on all my favorites!
With such fickle weather I prefer a cardigan over a chunky sweater because half the time I end up taking it off throughout the day anyway. But I love being able to dress it up or down with a good bootie.
I’ve been on the hunt for a leopard print bootie, and these sock booties I found are so cute I can’t wait to wear them all season!
It may only be July, but it's back to school for the teachers before our students come. It's that time of year where we go full force with our classroom decor, standard analysis, lesson planning, and PLCs. But one thing that I think is so important is making sure you have that perfect teacher wardrobe so you're ready to transition from summer to school year.
This is the time of year where I usually clean out my closet, donate what I don't wear anymore, and make sure I am stocked on the basics so I can mix and match. This year that will have to wait until I have this baby (who knows what I will still fit into!) but I found some great splurges and saves for those every day necessities for your teacher wardrobe.
Basic tees are a must to mix and match with. They can be worn with dress pants, skirts, tied up, or paired with a cardigan or a kimono. Lately I've been on the trend of tying my tee over a dress because of the bump!
Cardigans/sweaters are a staple in my wardrobe for the classroom. The temperature is never consistent so it's nice to always have one to thrown on. Plus if you want to wear that tank top or non-dress code appropriate top, you can throw the cardigan on top and now your outfit still works!
Dresses and jumpsuits are perfect for dressing up or dressing down. I always, always check the measurements and reviews though to make sure the length will be good for the classroom and so that it isn't too sheer (otherwise I wear my lace extenders). I love a basic t-shirt dress that I can layer a cardigan over, or a maxi that I'm comfortable in all day long.
Let's be real, when you're on your feet running around your classroom all day you want to be comfortable. My go-to shoes are my Birkenstocks and I'm dying for another pair...I just don't want to spend the money right now! I love my leather Birks and have fallen even more in love with my waterproof ones (I convinced my best friend they're amazing and she already bought two pairs!). I also live in my my Nikes and my platform flats. Sometimes when I want to dress it up a bit I'll wear a wedge or a chunky heel so I'm still comfortable but don't look like one of my eighth graders!
I could go on and on, but these are just some of my favorites (and basics) that I always make sure I have in my wardrobe for the beginning of the year. I hope you're ready for the school year too and have some fun with your back to school shopping too! I know I spend far too much on my students and classroom and have to remember to treat myself as well!
