Loving that hue

Hey guys, it’s been a bit since I’ve blogged and wanted to stop and chat about some of my favorite lip balms. I love a bold lip and bright colors but sometimes I want the color without having to actually wear a lipstick or paint. If you haven’t tried a lip balm that changes with your Ph you’re missing out!

There are a few different lip balms that I’ve been using that are perfect for adding some color to your lips without the hassle of lipstick. You literally apply and your lips transform, and no two lips will look the same because the formula adapts to your pH.

I’ve tried three different brands of this style of lip balm and wanted to give you the deets about them!  They're so easy to use, the color does't look weird if it "fades" after eating or drinking, and when you reapply it doesn't get that clumpy look either! 

Le Rouge Perfecto Beautifying Lip Balm is by far the favorite one out of the three but also the most expensive. I have the shade 04 Blue Pink - sheer blackberry shade with shimmer and it is perfect! It also is paraben free and has a shea Butter, Pepperslim and Coolact (create a slight puffiness and fresh sensation), and Eosin (the ingredient that reacts to your skins pH).

My next favorite after the Givenchy is Lipstick Queen. They have multiple colors that each have a different hue and can even be layered. I have Frog Prince and Hello Sailor (somewhere one my house....). I love these ones because they’re are still moisturizing and add a fun hue to your lips!

And last but not least the more affordable option -especially if you’re not sure how you will like it - is the Essence brand! These are under $5 and work great! They also have three different shades - I have black sheep and kiss the flamingo and they both give a different pink hue when I apply them!
