My girl Haleigh got me hooked on Tarte and now I am forever in love with their once a year deal where you get to build your kit for $69, a $232 value!! For the next 8 hours this is available and you get free shipping So honestly I don't always count the bag as a makeup item but the deal is still so good for what you get! You get to pick an item for lips, cheeks, eyes, complexion, prep/set/tools, and mascara. There are so many options and they are good items, not just things that they are trying to clearance out! For lips I suggest the Maracuja juicy lipstick or the juicy lip crème. These have great pigment and the color options work for everyone! I got the lipstick this year in shade "rosy brown". For cheeks I picked the blush tape because I have been wanting to try this one because its a blush and glow! I got it in the shade "rose. I debated the highlighter because I loved the color options and reviews but decided I have plenty and wanted to try the blush instead.

We have a formal winter wedding coming up so I wanted to share some of the cute wedding guest dresses that I found that would be perfect for this time of year. Quite a few are on sale right now so sharing those as well since we all love a good deal!
I snagged a few to try out in hopes that they work for the wedding. I got a few on sale, and I'm sure it won't last long so check them out before the sales are gone!
I have been forcing myself not buy new products because I just have so many stocked up. I have had a bad habit of buying products I like on sale even if I don't need them....one I'm trying to break. At the moment we are getting our primary bedroom and bathroom redone, so because of that I had to move everything out of the room and bathroom and store it in other places This has been quite difficult because I have realized I have way too much and need to simplify! There are products that I really like but if I am not going to keep using them because others are better I probably shouldn't stock up. I don't know about you but simplifying has been on my radar and now because of this remodel I have began to take it more seriously! These are my most recent empties and whether or not I will be repurchasing or not.
I don’t know about you but when it comes to beauty and hair products I really don’t like buying full sized unless I know it will work for me. I don’t know when I became this person, but I think it’s for the better. I think about how often I would buy something, use it a few times, and realize it’s not for me. I’m not the kind of person that will return a used beauty product, it just seems weird to me so I decided sample sized is the way to go because there is less waste.
I started buying sample sizes this year because I realized I prefer to actually test something before jumping in - especially if it’s on the more expensive side. I recently ordered a few sample sizes from Sephora of items I wanted to try and some clean beauty swaps that I’ve been meaning to make.
April is almost over meaning Mothers Day is fast approaching. If you're like me you're always looking for something your mom will actually use. But, when I buy my mom practical things I like to make sure I can also find her something that is fun too. For Christmas most of her gifts were practical, so I decided to look for something she would like but I know she wouldn't spend her own money on. Plus, I also like to look for what I would want too - my husband is very good at purchasing gifts off my list. So I'm sharing below just a few ideas plus my most recent Ulta purchase! PS if you don't already have it, sign up for a Rakuten account, it's 10% cash back at Ulta right now! Hey friends! Back again for Wear it Wednesday and I wanted to share about Honeylove with you this week. Honeylove creates shapewear for women that is bold and effective - because no one likes when their shapewear rolls down on them! I love that it is a women owned company and it was created to help all women feel confident. They also partner with Dress for Success which provides women with Honeylove products nationwide.

I tried out the LiftWear Tank and love the design! It's designed to be a supportive bra, smoothing garment, and stylish top in one. I love that it's meant to be form fitting and that it's a bra and top all in one so that you don't have any bra lines or bulging. It's wire-free bust support that replaces your bra. The LiftWear Tank features smooth,
supportive straps that lay gently on the skin. The LiftWear Cami features adjustable straps that can be shortened, lengthened, or crossed in the back to give you more control over your fit.
They can be worn on their own as a cute top, it has smooth supportive straps and holds you in in all the right places.
I love a good print to mix with and this Cabi Selma dress is so good. It’s a little pricey, but everything I’ve gotten from them so far has been great. I love that it has the drawstring on the waist so you can tighten it how you prefer to style fitted dresses. Plus, the puff shoulders are so cute! If you’re not sure how to style bold patterns scroll down and check out a few simple ways to rock big prints!

I honestly love patterns, but sometimes you need to break it up. So a few easy ways I do that are by adding a jacket or blazer. I love a good denim jacket to make look more casual. And, it helps so that all the attention isn’t focused only the dress pattern. This is the jacket I'm wearing - it's a more affordable option. But, this is actually my favorite jacket and it's worth the price for the quality!
I don't know about you, but here in Arizona I don't really have a seasonal wardrobe. Sure I have some sweaters and jackets that I store away until I can use them for a few months, but for the most part my closet stays the same throughout the year. And, if you're like me you like to shop your closet and try to make different items work for multiple seasons.
One thing that I like to do is take my spring and summer dresses and transition them for fall! *if you shop through my links I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you - thanks for your support!*
I love taking a simple bright dress and adding a few accessories to make it more fitting for a new season. Simply switching out the shoes already makes a huge difference.
It's that time of year again when Ulta does their 21 days of beauty sale. I've been more picky with what I am buying but definitely shopping a few days. But before you shop, sign up for Rakuten and you can get 3% cash back on your purchase at Ulta.

Here are some of my picks from the sale. I'm also interested this year because on Sept 12th (happy birthday to me!) they are doing a surprise beauty steal that will be 50% off.
Like I said, I'm trying to be more selective about what I am purchasing so I didn't share a huge list because I want to make sure I am not spending more than necessary. You can check out all 21 days here.
Here are a few items I did just refill on as well. These are ones I use daily!
The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser Brightening Treatment Drops Triple Vitamin C Serum Protect + Glow Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
If you've been on Instagram at all you'll notice influencers posting their LTKit links. These are affiliate links that these creators can earn a *very* small commission off of at no extra cost to the shopper. They have in app exclusives and Like to Know it Day is one where they partner with specific retailers to give you a discount while shopping from the app. You can shop outside the app but using a link from a blogger is an easy way to support someone that you follow while buying something you want!
LTKit Day has some great brands participating, I'll list all of them below but wanted to share some of my top faves from brands that I already shop. I wouldn't push a product on you that I haven't tried or like so all of these items linked are things I already use or am planning on purchashing!
