I love finding a good deal, and with Black Friday coming up it's always a good time to find what you're looking for! I used to go a little crazy for the deals, but over time I have learned to make a list of what I actually need/am looking for and not spend too much on things that are unnecessary. One thing I started doing when shopping for gifts is limiting gifts to a "want" "need" "wear" "read" and "do", that way I don't overspend and I make sure I am being thoughtful about my gifts.

It's the end of summer over here and closer to starting school already. Over here in Arizona we start school the first week of August which means us teachers are back the last week of July. My sweet summer always feels so short but this is also my favorite time of year because there are sales galore that get me ready for going back to school, and now of course with a little in preschool I get to do the same for her! Now if I'm being honest of course a lot of these items aren't necessarily for "back to school" but it is the time of year where I like to refresh and buy new things that we are looking for. I have stopped with buying it just because it is on sale, and now do the whole hold out for what you want until it goes on sale lifestyle now.

I'm sure you're aware by now butPrime Day is July 12-13th this year and if you didn't know many other stores have started competed with them and offering similar sales and price matching. I love this especially when Target does it because I also have a red card and get 5% off. Also if you haven't already installed Rakuten, it will also help price match for you to find you a lower price if it's available!
Now speaking of Prime Day, after a little research I saw that Amazon will not only be doing Prime day this year but also they will be doing a Q4 sale in the fall (article here) so I am thinking we will see even more mark downs then. My biggest suggestion for Prime day is to create a watchlist and see if anything goes on the lightning deals. Often times I have quickly searched and found the sale or deal isn't as great as it looks so I just keep it in my watchlist to see if it goes down even more. Click below to read more about the upcoming sales! It's Memorial Day Weekend so we know it's chockfull of sales. But, before I get into those, if you're interested in a quick reminder of what Memorial Day is and why we have it check out this article here. Liquid IV: 30% off your order. We love Liquid IV, especially in the summer. It's already over 100 degrees here so we drink water all day, and adding in a pack is perfect!
Judith March: 30% off with code MEMORIAL30 & if you have Rakuten you can get 5% back. *If you have never used Rakuten before you basically get cash back for shopping that you were already planning on doing! Sephora: 50% off select beauty items & free shipping with code: FREE SHIP. Also offering 8% back on Rakuten. Target: 1% back on Rakuten and deals on:
Ban.do: Extra 30% off sale items + additional 10% off last chance items Macy's: 25-40% off most categories +2% back if you have Rakuten Gym Shark: Up to 60% off Home Depot: There are quite a few categories of sale items on Home Depot. I am planning on buying a new document safe so have been browsing the different sales like:
All the sales are happening and if you're like me you like to get your holiday shopping done early. If you didn't know Target is doing their deal days right now (great price matching to Prime day!) The sale ends tomorrow though so hurry for these online only specials! P.S if you useRakuten you can also activate 1% cash back on certain products!

Right now they havefurniture deals up to 50% off! I am loving all these pieces and want to add a few to our home (even though I need a little more space....) I have been dying for a fireplace and this one is so cute! My sister has a giant bean bag in their living room that my little one loves and this one is such a great deal! Plus all the modern style furniture is so clean it makes me want to redo my whole house!
There are SO many kitchen sales going on right now some are too good to pass up! This indoor grill is so cool I definitely want to snag one of these. Quite a few of my friends have air fryers and this one is $40 off. If you don't have a kitchen aid already you are missing out and this one has a glass bowl and is beautiful! We still have our standard Keurig (we use a reusable filter not pods) and they are great for quick coffee or hot water for tea. I don't know about you but we are slowly converting all our food storage to glass and I love these containers!
There are SO many more deals so check them out below:

Let’s be real, if you haven’t already started planning your Black Friday shopping, you’re late to the game. I started shopping last week because there were pre-black Friday sales I just couldn’t pass up. Black Friday shopping has been a tradition I started with my mom years ago. We would go through the ads and decide where the best deals were. This was back when deals started at 5am on Friday, not on thanksgiving. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve gone out a few times on Thursday night, but not until 10pm after all the Thanksgiving festivities were done. Now with the baby I’m planning on doing all my shopping online, because let’s be real, no way would I want to take this little one in all the craziness shopping.
