As an Arizona girl I love traveling within my own state when I get the chance. Recently we headed north to Sedona for a weekend away. This time I decided that although we can't help going to some touristy places, that the goal was to try to visit some more local places if we could as well along with going on a new hike. It was a fantastic trip and I'm excited to share where we stayed and what we did. We stayed at The Ridge on Sedona Golf course in Oak Creek and the views were so beautiful. This resort was great especially if you have a family and plan on staying longer because they have kitchenettes and you can also get adjoining suites. There are two pools and two hot tubs and of course the golf course. The rooms are a little outdated - you may want to bring an iPad or something because they don't have smart TVs, but we didn't go to Sedona to just hang out in our room. We spent the whole time out and about, and because this is a short drive to Sedona (Oak creek is right outside) it was nice being away from the big crowds full of tourists. Plus, the views over the golf course were amazing!

I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by! June is almost over and then it will be soon be back to school season where I get super busy again. Sharing my recent empties with you and if I would repurchase or not. Some of these are the usual suspects that I will continue buying because they are my faves and in my daily routine!
![]() Hey friends, welcome back to my weekly empties! I love sharing products with you that I have used and recommend and even those that I'm not sure I would purchase again. Most of the time they are beauty products but I may throw in a few others that I feel strongly about! *If you purchase through my links I will make a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting me! I am SO excited to say I am finally a TULA Brand Ambassador! I love TULA and have been ordering from them for a while now. My last empties post also included some of these same products because I seriously use them daily! The filter blurring primer is an every day item for me. I have this on auto order along with the sunscreen and facewash because they're just so good! I love the formula and how it really does blend in with your skin. I have been using Luna which is meant for fair to light skin tones, but I purchased First Light this next time - meant for all skin tones to see if there is a difference.
Hey friends, here to talk about Mothers Day! Let's be honest, moms deserve it all - I am one so I can say this right? If you are like me and you buy most things yourself, you save the holidays for something that is a little more special/pricey. To be honest, I budget my money and purchase what I want and what I will use, BUT if you're not like that and ask for the big stuff I'm here for you too. This has been a tough year, and it's not the year for cheap jewelry or handbags that you don't really need. This is the year to treat your mom, wife, partner, mother in law, or even yourself with something nice that is also practical.

Hey guys, I’m talking teeth again over here on the blog because let’s be honest, when someone is talking to me that’s the first place my eyes go. Teeth health is so important, we only have one set and if you don’t take care of them, it’s not only costly but can also be painful! Last time I told you guys all about my experience with Smile Brilliant teeth whitener (still using because it’s amazing!), but this time we are talking toothbrushes.
Raise your hand if you were the person that just kept buying the disposable electric toothbrushes *slowly raises hand*. Ok let’s be real, yes it’s good that they were electric and helped with the brushing process, but also super wasteful and not really the best quality.
I switched over to a well known brand of electric toothbrush which I love, but let me tell you how awesome the Smile Brilliant cariPRO is compared to it!
It’s national coffee day so I decided to tell y’all about my favorite coffee shops! Don’t get me wrong, I’ll stop at Starbucks and Dunkin’ when that’s what is around but I much prefer going to a small shop if possible —the coffee is always better!!
I love a small shop, especially with the right atmosphere so I’m going to give you my top 3:
Disclosure: I received this product complimentary for testing purposes for an exchange for an honest review.
Let me start by saying I’m an avid coffee and soda drinker so I was a little skeptical of how effective this product would be. I’ve used other at home whitening products that promise great results - like the expensive toothpaste, whitening strips, and charcoal powder, yet saw little changes that made me really commit to the product.
As I’ve gotten older my gums have gotten more sensitive so I prefer a product that won’t cause my gums to feel like they’re bleeding (if you have sensitive gums, you know what I mean!). That’s one of the main factors that got me interested in trying Smile Brilliant, after you whiten each time, they have a desensitizing gel to use. When I first opened the kit it was neatly arranged with all the materials to make your own tray along with the whitening and desensitizing gel. The instructions were step by step and very easy to follow with guides for each part. I was a little worried about my molds but they really go above and beyond by giving you extra material and they also give you the option to send in a picture of your mold to get double checked if you’re worried. I love spending time in Downtown Gilbert and they have some great places to eat and drink in the area. I decided to give ya’ll some info on some of my favorite places to go when I am there. Whether it’s for a date night or a night out with the girls, there are plenty of options. |
