This year is flying by already. How are you doing in your reading challenge? How is your Instagram growth? These are two of the things that I have evaluated for my mid year check in and I am pleasantly happy with both! Of course I would love to see my Instagram grow even more, but honestly I started it for a fun outlet to share what I'm reading and to find others who are also readers! My book goal is out of control honestly. Nursing has made it so that I'm reading constantly on my kindle since I am doing it for around 3 hours a day still! If you want to check out in depth reviews my Goodreads is linked here.
If you came here for some bookstagram content ideas check out the ideas below along with new releases this month and a special highlight of new Kindle Unlimited releases too! I am an avid reader so KU is so worth the money for me. If you're looking for some ideas for what to post on Bookstagram look no further. I compiled some ideas for what to post in July. I highlighted some fun holidays although there are a few more you could definitely incorporate as well. A few other that you could easily incorporate for your booksta are:
July 4th - Alice in Wonderland Day - Share a flat lay of the book, or highlight your favorite retelling! July 8th - Love Your Skin Day - Share a flat lay of your favorite skincare products that match your bookstack July 9th - Fashion Day - Share your DOB - Drink, Outfit, & Book July 11th - 7-11 Day - Snag a slurpee that matches your current read July 15th - I Love Horses Day - Share your favorite cowboy romance featuring horses (check out Elsie Silver!) July 31st - Harry Potter's Birthday - Share your favorite book, or throw in your favorite fanfic! Hello booklovers! We are back at it again browsing through the Romancebookworms.com for their Stuff Your Kindle Day. If you're new around here I am an avid reader and love a good deal, and what's better than snagging some free books? Now although it says stuff your Kindle, you do not actually have to use Amazon and go thorough Amazon or use the Kindle app (my preferred method). If you go to the main page you are able to select you preferred retailer and then search the books. You can use Amazon, Barnes & Noble Nook, Apple Books, Kobo, or Google Play. Once you select your retailer then you can search by categories to find the books that you want. As a reminder these books will not all be from authors you know, which is the fun part in my opinion! It's a great way to discover new authors, genres, and test out what you like because there is no cost! Plus it's a great way to support these authors by sharing about it as well since most are indie authors. ![]() I searched through the categories and put together what books I am interested in and suggest. Just a reminder that if you want to scour the webpage I highly suggest doing it on your computer so that you can ctrl+f for keywords for what you are interested in - I suggest that on here too!! Also, sometimes there are errors so when you click on the book make sure that it shows the price as $0.00 as shown in this image to the right! I just shared Stuff your Kindle day, but coming back at you with a Fantasy edition! Fantasybookdragons.com is offering free Fantasy books on January 1st 2024 this year. I highly suggest heading to the webpage and doing it from your browser just like I recommend for SYKD as well. That way you can search by genres. I went through the list and checked out titles that sounded interesting to me and linked them below for you to make it a little easier if you don't want to search through the whole page. There are not as many as the Romance books, but after looking these are my picks that I plan on snagging once they are free! As always double check that the books are free before "purchasing", some are already free right now too! Urban Fantasy
The day has come to stuff your kindle again! If you haven't seen my posts before or heard of this romancebookworms.com hosts this event four times a year in conjunction with indie authors to help promote their books! It is a great way to find new authors and stories to fall in love with! I have downloaded SO many books and love finding new authors from this event. I have scoured through the website and have listed some of the books that I recommend/have downloaded. I only highlighted a few categories this time because these are the ones that I really wanted to focus on! But I did add the keywords as well! I highly suggest if you are doing this from their webpage that you do it from your laptop not your phone, it is much easier to use the search feature and ctrl+f those keywords that you are looking for. Hopefully you find this post helpful, leave a comment and let me know what you downloaded!

'Tis the season for Holiday reads! If you're like me and have Kindle Unlimited, I have been searching through the Christmas books available. I made it easy on you and created a list to make it easy to find and will keep adding more if I find any more. I sorted them by categories to try to help you decide what ones are for you. To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of the cheesy Hallmark channel style romances, I like a little spice, but I have a mix of both on here along with novellas which I prefer for holiday reads. I don't necessarily want to read a super long book for the holidays when I have so many other books on my TBR but there are few on here that are longer that I will definitely check out. Keywords added next to titles along with page numbers to make searching easier. If it is bolded it's because it has to do with SPICE or Trigger Warnings (TW) Novellas & shorter storiesResting Scrooge Face: A Short Story - 80 pages, Small Town Romance.
After a bad breakup, Nola wants nothing to do with Christmas, especially in her quaint hometown of Bright Harbor, Maine. Infuriatingly charming and cheery, Nola’s surroundings only worsen her sour mood. To make matters worse, Caleb, the boy who broke her heart years ago, is all grown up and still living in town. While doing her best to avoid him, Nola bumps into the local mailman, who gives her a mysterious letter. And when she finds that the writer is a fellow Scrooge, she can’t help but feel her spirit lifting. Christmas Cupid - 182 pages, Enemies to Lovers, Sports Romance, Forced Proximity Two opposites stuck in a cabin together due to a mistake....or is it? Will these two end up fighting the whole time or will their passion ignite? Single All The Way - 170 pages, RomCom, Spicy Being dumped weeks out from Christmas already sucks, so imagine your fiancé replacing your position with his high school sweetheart while you’re snowed in at his family’s estate that’s meant to host your wedding. Things couldn’t get any worse—so I won’t mention the hot chocolate incident, insensitive demand for the return of my engagement ring, or my luggage being stolen mere feet from my apartment when I can finally fly home—but it’s December, the second most romantic month of the year, so things can only go up, right? I've been in the Bookstagram world for about a year now and I can personally say that I absolutely LOVE it! It is such a fun community where you can not only share your love of books and reviews, but get so many recommendations, reviews, and a sense of comradery with fellow book lovers. I have found that sometimes I don't know what to post, and have tried to find inspiration with others but I don't want to just copy what they are doing. Each month now I have started creating a post with ideas for the month including fun holidays, themed ideas based on the month or season, book releases, and more. I have found it so fun and also helpful for myself to be more creative and consistent with planning my content! Although some months have traditional holidays, I love finding the "fun" ones or the more obscure ones and turning them into a way to make content! Obviously December has well know holidays such as Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Years eve, but I had so much fun finding other days to celebrate and create themes around.
Dec 1- National Women Support Women Day Dec 3- Candle Day Dec 11 - International Mountain Day Dec 12- Gingerbread Day Dec 13- National Cocoa Day So many cute ways to create content and not just for bookstagram! If you are a lifestyle or mom blogger too these would be perfect ways to theme your content as well!
With the holiday season upon us, I know that sometimes it gets stressful when trying to shop for everyone in your life. I don't know about you but I love finding the perfect gift for my friends and and family. I love making sure the gifts learn towards their interests and if you have a book lover in your life I have so many ideas for you! Obviously books are always an easy go to, but if you aren't sure what they already have don't worry, I have plenty of other ideas for you as well.
Thank you for clicking my links, if you make a purchase through them I get a small commission at no cost to you at all. I appreciate your support!
Cyber Monday sales are still going and Book Outlet is having a huge $5.99+ sale for fiction right now! I have purchased from them previously and loved all the books I was was able to snag. They have thousands of books, you can search by genre, age, product type, and more. Plus right now if you are a Rakuten member they are offering 10% cash back on purchases! It is so easy and if you haven't signed up you can use my referral code here. Below are some that I have read or that are on my list. And don't forget there are great deals on kids books as well, so if you are looking for stocking stuffers or easy gifts that aren't toys (my parental preference...please no more toys or stuffed animals...) These would be great options as well!
As always Amazon is an easy go to because well, it's so easy! If you have a Prime Membership you get two day shipping, easy free returns, and of course can easily find pretty much anything you are looking for! I've linked some items that I have and love and some that are also on my wish list as well! I am OBSESSED with my Kindle so if you have someone who is a big reader, a new mom, someone who likes to take books where ever they go I highly recommend an e-reader. I have the Paperwhite and it is so nice! I got mine on sale, and sadly the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are over, so if you are looking for a deal you might want to wait and see if they do another deal for boxing day or for Prime Day later this year.
