'Tis the season for Holiday reads! If you're like me and have Kindle Unlimited, I have been searching through the Christmas books available. I made it easy on you and created a list to make it easy to find and will keep adding more if I find any more. I sorted them by categories to try to help you decide what ones are for you. To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of the cheesy Hallmark channel style romances, I like a little spice, but I have a mix of both on here along with novellas which I prefer for holiday reads. I don't necessarily want to read a super long book for the holidays when I have so many other books on my TBR but there are few on here that are longer that I will definitely check out. Keywords added next to titles along with page numbers to make searching easier. If it is bolded it's because it has to do with SPICE or Trigger Warnings (TW) Novellas & shorter storiesResting Scrooge Face: A Short Story - 80 pages, Small Town Romance.
After a bad breakup, Nola wants nothing to do with Christmas, especially in her quaint hometown of Bright Harbor, Maine. Infuriatingly charming and cheery, Nola’s surroundings only worsen her sour mood. To make matters worse, Caleb, the boy who broke her heart years ago, is all grown up and still living in town. While doing her best to avoid him, Nola bumps into the local mailman, who gives her a mysterious letter. And when she finds that the writer is a fellow Scrooge, she can’t help but feel her spirit lifting. Christmas Cupid - 182 pages, Enemies to Lovers, Sports Romance, Forced Proximity Two opposites stuck in a cabin together due to a mistake....or is it? Will these two end up fighting the whole time or will their passion ignite? Single All The Way - 170 pages, RomCom, Spicy Being dumped weeks out from Christmas already sucks, so imagine your fiancé replacing your position with his high school sweetheart while you’re snowed in at his family’s estate that’s meant to host your wedding. Things couldn’t get any worse—so I won’t mention the hot chocolate incident, insensitive demand for the return of my engagement ring, or my luggage being stolen mere feet from my apartment when I can finally fly home—but it’s December, the second most romantic month of the year, so things can only go up, right?

I've been in the Bookstagram world for about a year now and I can personally say that I absolutely LOVE it! It is such a fun community where you can not only share your love of books and reviews, but get so many recommendations, reviews, and a sense of comradery with fellow book lovers. I have found that sometimes I don't know what to post, and have tried to find inspiration with others but I don't want to just copy what they are doing. Each month now I have started creating a post with ideas for the month including fun holidays, themed ideas based on the month or season, book releases, and more. I have found it so fun and also helpful for myself to be more creative and consistent with planning my content! Although some months have traditional holidays, I love finding the "fun" ones or the more obscure ones and turning them into a way to make content! Obviously December has well know holidays such as Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Years eve, but I had so much fun finding other days to celebrate and create themes around.
Dec 1- National Women Support Women Day Dec 3- Candle Day Dec 11 - International Mountain Day Dec 12- Gingerbread Day Dec 13- National Cocoa Day So many cute ways to create content and not just for bookstagram! If you are a lifestyle or mom blogger too these would be perfect ways to theme your content as well!
With the holiday season upon us, I know that sometimes it gets stressful when trying to shop for everyone in your life. I don't know about you but I love finding the perfect gift for my friends and and family. I love making sure the gifts learn towards their interests and if you have a book lover in your life I have so many ideas for you! Obviously books are always an easy go to, but if you aren't sure what they already have don't worry, I have plenty of other ideas for you as well.
Thank you for clicking my links, if you make a purchase through them I get a small commission at no cost to you at all. I appreciate your support!
Cyber Monday sales are still going and Book Outlet is having a huge $5.99+ sale for fiction right now! I have purchased from them previously and loved all the books I was was able to snag. They have thousands of books, you can search by genre, age, product type, and more. Plus right now if you are a Rakuten member they are offering 10% cash back on purchases! It is so easy and if you haven't signed up you can use my referral code here. Below are some that I have read or that are on my list. And don't forget there are great deals on kids books as well, so if you are looking for stocking stuffers or easy gifts that aren't toys (my parental preference...please no more toys or stuffed animals...) These would be great options as well!
As always Amazon is an easy go to because well, it's so easy! If you have a Prime Membership you get two day shipping, easy free returns, and of course can easily find pretty much anything you are looking for! I've linked some items that I have and love and some that are also on my wish list as well! I am OBSESSED with my Kindle so if you have someone who is a big reader, a new mom, someone who likes to take books where ever they go I highly recommend an e-reader. I have the Paperwhite and it is so nice! I got mine on sale, and sadly the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are over, so if you are looking for a deal you might want to wait and see if they do another deal for boxing day or for Prime Day later this year.

I'm sure plenty of you have started hearing about Stuff Your Kindle Day but it can be a little overwhelming. I'm here to help you out and give you some ideas to help make it a little less stressful! Stuff your Kindle Day happens 4 times a year with the next one being June 30th. After that there will be another one on September 20th and then again December 27th. What a month! I ended up reading 20 books this month and had such a fun time! I had planned on reading 5 physical books and then whatever I ended up reading on my Kindle. I only read 3/5 physical books I planned but then I ended up reading others as a buddy read and because I got sucked into a few series. These are all the physical books I read and some I enjoyed more than the others! I planned on reading My Saving Grace *KU* and My Favorite Mistake because I got these in my Romance Reveal Box - a Romance book subscription I am trying out! Both were 3 Star reads for me, but they are both signed copies which I thought was pretty cool! I ended up reading Maybe Someday as a buddy read with a friend and then read the second novella, Maybe Not, in the series as well. Although these have a cheating element in them I did like that there was diversity in the book with someone being deaf and using sign language. These were also three star reads for me as well.
Did you read anything this month? I have started tracking what I'm reading not only by year but also by month and have been having so much fun seeing what I end up reading. Some months are busier than others but I was able to read quite a few during February! I have soccer coming up for the next few months so I know my book number will probably be lower but that's okay! It's about having fun reading not the amount that you read.
This month I read 15 books, and am still currently reading 5. I mayyy have been a little overzealous with my current reads but honestly I just couldn't decide and kept switching it up between dark, romance, and fantasy. If you don't use Storygraph, it's a fun way to track moods, pages, format, and genre. Maybe it's the math teacher in me but I love all the graphs it shows you where you can break down what you are reading. If you get it add me because I love seeing what other people read along with Goodreads! I definitely have read more romance but a lot of that was dark romance/fantasy romance as well. It's so cool how you can click on each bar and see what the books are classified as!
![]() I don't know about you but I am a sucker for sports romance books. It all started when I read The Deal - Elle Kennedy, part of the Off Campus series, and instantly fell in love. I immediately read the Briar U series after! I will have to say hockey romance probably has my heart (I grew up playing hockey so I have some bias here) but after that is baseball and football. If you haven't read Meghan Quinns Brentwood Boys series - FREE in KU *SPICY* I highly recommend if you are dipping your toes into the sport romance world as well. My most recent hockey romance read was Icebreaker by Hannah Grace. I loved Nate and he’s the main reason for the four stars I gave this book. I was sick and read this book in a day. Overall I expected this to be a fluff romance read with spice (oh she brought the spice, don’t you worry), but it kind of dragged on. I feel like it did that because there was a lot of time invested in side characters. I want this to be a series because I too am invested in Henry (and Russ), but I felt like a lot of this could be cut. It was also lot of their day to day living, like I get building the story but we could have cut a lot of that and saved it for other books in the series, etc. But anyway. I enjoyed Anastasia even though she did annoy me. She and her figure skating partner Aaron drive me crazy, he is the worst kind of person where he projects his trauma on his “friends” and she hangs onto him for soooo long. She has done a lot of therapy for herself but even though she is blunt and direct with her feelings she can’t ever seem to do that with Aaron. I don’t know if annoyed me but probably because it’s more realistic that way too. Also I like she is direct with her no attachments but also what about Ryan? Unless we get his story I’m going to feel like he will always be jealous of Nathan now because that situation was a little off — hookup buddies, just friends that cuddle…., just friends? But; her becoming friends with all the hockey boys was great. We love a girlfriend that is also friends with hers friends and like to piss each other off (I.e. JJ). Nathan was obviously my favorite character because of how much he wanted her. I love it when the guy falls first and boy did he. Here is where you will find all the spice, falling from this sweet, romantic, supportive, filthy mouthed man. “Can you be a good girl and be quiet?”
Need I say more? TLDR: predictable yet cute story, grumpyxsunshine reverse, slightly too long, read it for Nathan Happy Valentines Day friends! I decided that I would give you all some fun romance recs in case you want to spend some time this month reading about love. Some of these I have read and others are on my TBR (to be read) list as well.
Hey friends, I hope you're having a great start to your New Year! I haven't made a set goal of how many books to read a month, just a yearly goal of trying to read 100. I am definitely ahead of schedule though because I have already read 13 books this month and only one DNF.
