I haven't talked about skincare in a while (or ever?) and that's one thing I've really been focusing on during this whole Covid stuck-at-home-thing. When I was younger I got hormonal cystic acne and it was just horrible. I was left with scarring, still have some deep pores, and will occasionally get cystic acne still. I've been trying to find a skincare routine that is more natural while still being effective and in comes Derma E. I have been using some of their products already (Vitamin E oil & Anti-wrinkle treatment oil) and was really excited to try out their Vitamin C skincare line. Vitamin C has antioxidant properties so the idea of brighter and smoother skin sounded great to me! I got 5 items from their line so I'm going to tell you how I felt about them!

The first thing I used was the Vitamin C Brightening Cleanser. It's a skin-brightening, sulfate-free facial cleanser that helps promote skin clarity and glow. Previously I was using the Acne Deep Pore Cleansing Wash and I would say they both work very well. I do prefer the acne cleaner a little more because it has salicylic acid and tea tree oil in it and for my concerns this was a little more effective.
After this I used the Microdermabrasion Scrub and wow I loved it! The texture is not as grainy and rough as some exfoliates and it smelled amazing! Plus it helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars. It's packed with all the good stuff including citrus oils, vitamin e, grape seed oil, and jojoba seed oil (plus more!). This is 100% staying in my routine and I will be using it 2 times a week.
I have very dry skin and worry that when I use moisturizers they will sit on my face and look greasy instead of sink in. That is definitely not the case with the Vitamin C Intense Night Repair. A little goes a long way and this cream is packed with vitamin c and probiotics to help your skin. I've been using this nightly and I feel like the texture of my skin has been greatly improving.
Last but not least I tried the Vitamin C No Dark Circles Perfecting Eye Cream. I loved this eye cream and used it in the morning! It is infused with antioxidant-rich Vitamin C, brightening Turmeric, Mica, and de-puffing Caffeine to instantly color-correct for brighter eyes. I put this all around my eye area and my lids and I loved how it instantly helped the appearance of my eyes and want to try it cold as well (a tip from their site!)
Overall I am loving these products and the Derma E brand in general. Have you tried them yet? What do you think? I have them all linked below but they sell out pretty quick! You can also find them a Sprouts (where I get mine!), Ulta, Target, and Whole foods!
