Downtown Gilbert Eats

I love spending time in Downtown Gilbert and they have some great places to eat and drink in the area.  I decided to give ya’ll some info on some of my favorite places to go when I am there. Whether it’s for a date night or a night out with the girls, there are plenty of options.

Postino Wine Cafe is one of my favorite places to go in downtown Gilbert.  They have amazing food and their creme brulee is to die for! Their happy hour is Monday to Friday from 11am -5 pm with $5 wine by the glass and pitchers of beer. My favorite special is on Monday and Tuesday nights after 8 pm: a board of of bruschetta (you get to choose four) and a bottle of wine for $20.  They also offer a delicious brunch on the weekends as well if you’re looking for a new breakfast place to try as well!

If you’re looking for a modern place for street tacos, Joy Ride Tacos is for you.  They have happy hour weekdays from 2pm-close and of course Taco Tuesdays as well! They offer Gluten Free and Vegetarian options as well which is nice for those with specific food allergies.  They also have specials like Postino from 11-5 with margaritas, pitchers of beer, and wines as well. If you’re looking for suggestions for appetizers try the Elote, trust me.

Liberty Market is a fantastic place to go, there is always something new here and the food is so fresh.  They have weekly and weekend specials that get better and better every time I try them. They also offer Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan modifications to their menu items as well.  Their options range from breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and also have an espresso bar as well, can you say yum!

Barrio Queen is another Mexican restaurant in Downtown Gilbert, but has a more authentic feel to it.  They also offer a street taco deal, any three tacos for $11 and even have Sonoran Dogs as well! They have happy hour from 2-6 pm every day of the week with food and drinks.

Downtown Gilbert has so many options these were just a few of my regulars, others places to try include: Nico Heirloom Grill, Pomo, Zinburger, Sushi Brokers, Lo-Lo’s Chicken and Waffles, Oregano's, Joe’s Real BBQ, Clever Koi, Petersen’s Ice Cream, Bergies Coffe House, and if you feel like getting your dance on you can always go to Whiskey Row!
