So I'll be totally honest here, my mom used to sell these products back in the day and laughed when I told her they were "back in". I knew it was a trustworthy and good company but I never really was too interested in the products, I always kind of had the doubt in my mind questioning if it was really worth it.
I connected with Laura through Dani Austins Sassy Club and she sent me a full size bottle of the MakeSense foundation in Dewy to review. I was super hesitant to try it because I was worried that it wouldn't really work or live up to the websites claims.
According to the Senegence website the MakeSense Foundation is:Non-smearing, long-lasting coverage in a unique formula that is a combination of cosmetics with skin care to give you an impeccably flawless finish.
After consistently using this foundation for over a month I can say that I'm pleasantly surprised that it holds up the the claims. I apply after a primer and with a sponge and blend over my whole face. Above you can see what my finished face looks like with the foundation, bronzer, highlighter, and finish. I love that it has a shield that works as an SPF because I am out coaching soccer in the sun 4 days a week after work. I was also surprised that it truly was water resistant! Quite a few times I forgot to brush my teeth before applying, and the makeup completely held up through my brushing and mouthwash. I have more of combination skin type, but this didn't dry out my face or make it look oily at all. I would totally suggest this to anyone looking for a new foundation and I have even purchased more of their products - currently obsessed with LipSense for all my events and photo shoots because it also lives up to the Senegence claim of being waterproof and long lasting.
