Being stuck in the house all day with a toddler has made me start looking for even more ideas for ways to keep her busy without just turning on cartoons. She has been getting really into coloring so I decided to try out a paint project! This was so easy and mess free and the final product turned out great! Materials: Small canvas - mine is from a pack I found on sale at Michael's it's a 12x12 Paint - I picked three different shades of blue, black, and white. I didn't want too many colors so that it wouldn't mix well and would match my kitchen (linked a great starter kit!) Plastic wrap - You can use whatever plastic wrap is in your house! Instructions: 1. Lay out plastic wrap underneath your canvas (not necessary but helps contain the mess!) 2. Squeeze out your paint across your canvas - make sure it's not too close to the edge, don't worry it'll spread! 3. Bring plastic wrap around and make sure the canvas is "sealed". Once I brought the first layer around I added another layer the other direction to make sure all paint was contained inside the plastic. 4. Let your little one discover and squish! Stevie was hesitant at first but then she had fun smashing the paint around on the canvas! Once your little is done, carefully remove the plastic and let it dry. Now you have a wonderful abstract masterpiece! Leave me a comment and let me know if you try it!
