It’s national coffee day so I decided to tell y’all about my favorite coffee shops! Don’t get me wrong, I’ll stop at Starbucks and Dunkin’ when that’s what is around but I much prefer going to a small shop if possible —the coffee is always better!! I love a small shop, especially with the right atmosphere so I’m going to give you my top 3:  #3 Sweetz Brew This is a locally owned shop off Gilbert and Guadalupe in Gilbert, Az. They have a tasty cold brew and an eclectic store that is perfect for studying, working, or just having a simple coffee date! I think their story is so cool too, it’s a family owned company that literally started in their garage and then were able to blossom into what they are now.  They not only offer cold brew but also nitro brew, and can give you a hot cold brew as well. I was shocked when I saw how extensive their menu was including the option to buy a growler, smoothies, energy drinks, and beer! They have local rotating taps featuring beers from our local breweries here in Arizona & wines!  #2 Four Silos Four silos is also a local, family owned coffee shop in Gilbert. I discovered them recently and was so impressed by their coffee. They also offer local beers on tap and their food is delicious too! I went on a morning coffee date and we all tried each other’s drinks as well. They have espresso drinks, frozen coffees, cold brew that are all so delicious it’s hard to pick what you want! The inside of the shop is small but I love that they have an outside ordering window and you can even order ahead online to pick up as well!  #1 Black Rock Coffee Bar Okay, of course the most basic is my favorite because let’s be real, give me a good latte/iced coffee and I’m good to go. Black Rock has a much simpler menu but the taste is just so good I prefer it most days! They offer their own energy drink (Fuel), smoothies, and drinks for the kiddos too. If your in the mood to try something new I highly suggest an iced Mexican Mocha — it’s so good and has the best flavor.   So next time you’re in the area I highly suggest you check out these local places and let me know what you think! Black Rock is the only one with locations in other states —Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Colorado, so if you live near one definitely try it out!
