I don’t know about you but I’m a pretty solid sale shopper. I rarely buy anything full price because that’s how my momma raised me. It’s the time of year where Hobby Lobby starts their clearance sale where eventually it gets up to 80-90% off. I decided to stop by today and see what they had in hopes of finding some cute stuff for Stevie’s nursery...I know, I know, she’s 8 months old and I still haven’t decorated it, I’m just not “that mom”.

Disclosure: I received this product complimentary for testing purposes for an exchange for an honest review.
Let me start by saying I’m an avid coffee and soda drinker so I was a little skeptical of how effective this product would be. I’ve used other at home whitening products that promise great results - like the expensive toothpaste, whitening strips, and charcoal powder, yet saw little changes that made me really commit to the product.
As I’ve gotten older my gums have gotten more sensitive so I prefer a product that won’t cause my gums to feel like they’re bleeding (if you have sensitive gums, you know what I mean!). That’s one of the main factors that got me interested in trying Smile Brilliant, after you whiten each time, they have a desensitizing gel to use. When I first opened the kit it was neatly arranged with all the materials to make your own tray along with the whitening and desensitizing gel. The instructions were step by step and very easy to follow with guides for each part. I was a little worried about my molds but they really go above and beyond by giving you extra material and they also give you the option to send in a picture of your mold to get double checked if you’re worried.
Let’s be real, if you haven’t already started planning your Black Friday shopping, you’re late to the game. I started shopping last week because there were pre-black Friday sales I just couldn’t pass up. Black Friday shopping has been a tradition I started with my mom years ago. We would go through the ads and decide where the best deals were. This was back when deals started at 5am on Friday, not on thanksgiving. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve gone out a few times on Thursday night, but not until 10pm after all the Thanksgiving festivities were done. Now with the baby I’m planning on doing all my shopping online, because let’s be real, no way would I want to take this little one in all the craziness shopping.

Since sleep is lacking for me I figured I could use all the random hours I’m up to start putting her birth into words. Like a lot of people, my birth plan didn’t go as expected but in the end we had to do what was best for our baby girl.
I love spending time in Downtown Gilbert and they have some great places to eat and drink in the area. I decided to give ya’ll some info on some of my favorite places to go when I am there. Whether it’s for a date night or a night out with the girls, there are plenty of options. I’ve been trying to figure out what to say about my first 20 weeks of pregnancy and just kept getting stuck. I was planning on writing about each trimester, but man am I just tired. After working all day, coaching soccer, and going to worship rehearsal, I just haven’t found the time for much lately! With only 4 days of school left in the year I will hopefully have more time to plan and write consistently, although I will be working basically the whole summer, I’m hoping I can plan out posts ahead of time and really stick to it. I’d love to continue sharing more about this journey, especially so I can go back and reflect on it. Instead of laying out a long blog post for you, I figured it would be better to list 5 things I’ve learned in my pregnancy so far.
So I'll be totally honest here, my mom used to sell these products back in the day and laughed when I told her they were "back in". I knew it was a trustworthy and good company but I never really was too interested in the products, I always kind of had the doubt in my mind questioning if it was really worth it.
I connected with Laura through Dani Austins Sassy Club and she sent me a full size bottle of the MakeSense foundation in Dewy to review. I was super hesitant to try it because I was worried that it wouldn't really work or live up to the websites claims. |
